For those of you have Toyota production vehicle, you should read this news.
We know that Toyota is a big company and have good quality, However nothing is perfect. Everyone must have an error or some mistakes, including the Toyota Company. And we must take a lesson from the events experienced by Toyota.
Last week Toyota announced that it will recall 2.3 million cars in the US because of faulty parts. Lots of Toyota cars owners complained that their machines are accelerating all of a sudden and the company’s investigation brought to the light the fact that the gas pedals are broken. Toyota said that problems appear due to heavy usage and there are eight models having the same faulty gas pedals. If you thought that everything is OK then I beg to differ as Toyota has decided today to halt production and suspend sales in the US of all the eight car models which suffer from the gas pedal issue.
As a result Toyota’s shares fell down with 4.3% in the Tokyo market, while the carmaker’s reputation has been badly damaged. Who would even consider buying a Toyota car right now? Your safety and your family is at stake so you should be careful when buying. Toyota suspends sales for now, but the company will be back. According to the company, the production will be halted in February for a week at US and Canada plants. The Toyota sales suspension concerns the following models: RAV4, Corolla, Matrix, Sequoia, Tundra, Avalon, Highlander, and Camry.
